The animal protection association Ein Herz für Fellnasen in Not e.V. was founded in 2013, and all of its members volunteer their time to help many animals in need. In close cooperation with its partner shelter Help Labus in Galati, Romania, the association supports over 1,400 animals, most of whom were rescued from the streets or saved from kill shelters. Among them are many abused animals and puppies, often discarded like trash. The shelter fights daily for the survival of these animals, despite receiving no government support. The monthly feeding costs alone amount to over 20,000 euros. In addition to veterinary expenses, the shelter regularly needs to repair or renew animal accommodations and infrastructure. Where financially possible, the association also carries out neutering projects to help reduce the suffering of animals in the long term.

In the mid-1990s, one million hectares of swamp rainforest were cleared in Central Borneo, destroying the habitat of thousands of animal and plant species. The conservation organization Lebensraum Regenwald e.V. funds the "Project Roland," which supports the Mawas Protection Program of the BOS Foundation to protect 309,000 hectares of natural habitat for wild orangutans and the local communities living there. People from the villages of Tuanan and Mentangai search for tree seeds in the remaining primary forests and bring them to one of the two tree nurseries run by the organization. There, the saplings are nurtured and later transplanted into reforestation areas by up to 10 locals from Mentangai.

This project helps preserve the rainforest as a habitat for biodiversity while simultaneously integrating the local population as key actors in this process. The goal is to restore the destroyed habitat to the countless animal and plant species in the Mawas area.

Founded in 2022 and located in the Kassanda District of Uganda, the Luv4all: Uganda Foundation is dedicated to promoting effective altruism, empathy, kindness, and understanding across communities. The organization’s mission is rooted in advancing a culture that benefits all sentient beings through education, advocacy, and grassroots engagement. At the heart of Luv4all’s work is the establishment of a sustainable food system, aligned with its core values of compassion and environmental stewardship. The Foundation also founded a primary school that emphasizes sustainability and eco-friendly living. This school offers free education to vulnerable children, focusing on plant-based lifestyles, climate and environmental conservation, and the promotion of kindness and compassion. Through these initiatives, Luv4all: Uganda seeks to instill hope, share values, and empower the next generation to create a better, more sustainable future for their communities and the planet.

MANTAHARI Oceancare e.V. is dedicated to the protection of manta rays and their habitat – the ocean. These remarkable marine animals are threatened by overfishing, pollution, and the loss of their natural habitat. Founder Tim Noack, a diver, could no longer stand by as his favorite creatures were consuming more plastic particles than plankton. In order to fund ocean conservation, Tim first founded a fashion brand under the same name, MANTAHARI, which produces sustainable products from recycled PET bottles. 50% of the profits go directly to the association, which is actively working to preserve manta ray populations. This supports research and education projects in Indonesia and raises awareness. Local communities as well as international actors are involved in the protection of manta rays. Through donations, sponsorships, and volunteer work, supporters can make a direct contribution to the conservation of these unique marine creatures.
